The Challenge

Weick Wohnschmiede wanted to reposition their brand from a traditional carpentry business to a premium interior design studio focused on custom interiors.

The website needed to communicate craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail while moving away from the visual conventions commonly associated with trade businesses.

My Approach

I designed and developed a minimalist website that places the client’s work at the center of the experience while reinforcing their premium brand positioning.

Key design decisions included:

– Structuring the content around complete living concepts and design philosophy rather than individual woodworking services.

– Developing a minimalist visual language using generous whitespace, refined typography, and a restrained color palette.

– Allowing high-quality project photography to become the primary visual element throughout the website.

– Designing layouts inspired by editorial and interior design publications to create a calm, premium browsing experience.

– Implementing smooth animations, responsive layouts, and optimized performance to support the minimalist aesthetic across all devices.

Outcome

The final result is a responsive corporate website that reflects the client’s premium positioning and showcases their craftsmanship through a clean, image-focused design.
